All of the powerful life lessons is one of the many reasons I adore the Harry Potter series so much. In my HP & Chamber of Secrets class we discussed if Harry Potter should be discouraged over things Tom Riddle, Draco Malfoy and his fellow Slytherin say to him. Why did Harry find it so easy to listen to them? It was a great opportunity to share how important it is to not fill our minds and hearts with lies ... especially from those we would never go to for advice. Who has a more accurate perspective of Harry ... Professor Dumbledore or Draco Malfoy?
